The pursuit of perfection drives us to succeed in all areas of our lives. Becoming a better partner, parent, friend, employee and more allows us to make conscious decisions every day that improve our own lives and the lives of others. Often, as the saying goes, perfection is a journey, not a destination. The desire for perfection in our home can take many forms, and can manifest its success in many ways. In light of the recent storm that has affected millions of families along the East Coast, including our own, my definition of perfection reflects only a desire to have my loved ones close by, safe and healthy.
