Atlanta-based designer Suzanne Kasler is best known for creating interiors that marry European chic with Southern elegance and charm. Mixing antiques with contemporary art and making bold color choices are just a few of the ways she creates her signature aesthetic.
Kasler is inspired by classic French interiors, which she describes as “collected interiors, with modern, antique and vintage pieces.” She loves collecting items from around the world and mixing high-end and affordable designs. Paris is her favorite city in France.
“So many French interiors have classic and historical architecture as the foundation,” said Kasler.“i carry French elements throughout all my work by strengthening the architecture and layering new and old.”
While always inspired by French design, one trend Kasler has seen a lot recently is French Modern, which she says, “has become more part of the mix.” With that said, she added “So many design elements inspired by the French are timeless.”
“up-to-date” or “abreast of current affairs.”
